Joe has over 30 years’ experience producing technical drawings within the structural engineering environment, ranging from large housing developments, multi-storey reinforced concrete apartment blocks, industrial steel portal frames, loadbearing masonry structures and everything in between.
He started as a junior technician at a small practice attending college on a day release basis to gain his HNC. Since gaining experience in both detailing and site visits, he has worked at several medium to large consultants around Birmingham and the West Midlands, quickly gaining a first-class reputation as a detailer. Joe prides himself on producing clear and accurate drawings and, after many years honing his AutoCAD and CADS-RC skills working for consultancies, he made the decision in 2005 to set up his own company and work on contract basis. This has proved to be very successful for him. He has worked with JME Consultants since 2020.
Joe likes to keep busy; weekends are mainly spent renovating properties with his family and socialising in his local pub. He also likes to travel when he has the time.
